The client had a huge requirement of routing of the dust design of the air handling unit (AHU) based on the occupancy of a 10,000 sq ft across a three-storied building. They also wanted to draft of the duct design in the AutoCAD, chilled water pipe design and drafting for commercial building – library – admin floor, office floor

Once we receive the mark-up pdf, AutoCAD drawings with mark-ups along with all the instructions, we reviewed the requirements carefully. A team including one MEP designer, one draftsman, and one team lead started working on it. The first step was to design the HVAC ducts and piping in McQuay Duct Sizer and McQuay Pipe Sizer, followed with drafting in AutoCAD 2021 as per the mark-ups. On completion, we shared the final AutoCAD files with the client, and they were highly satisfied with the precise and accurate output.
Although, earlier routing the pipe and the duct seemed challenging while designing, as the requirement was to match the design aesthetically with the sitting layout and the ceiling.
