The client was looking for an experienced outsourcing company to partner with, to assign the coordination and clash detection for six models, viz., architectural files, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and fire-fighting files. They hired BOP for this, owing to the expertise and experience we have, as this requires high precision.
The Solution from BOP on Revit Coordination and Clash Detection
One, we received all the input files in the form of Revit files of the six models for the entire floor of the data center. A team of three experts began working on the project. The first step was to segregate the files with different standards, which was challenging. Followed with this, we detected the 5000 clashes in Naviswork and prepared the clash report based on the tolerance which was pre-set equal or beyond 1mm. We took the architectural model as reference and made zero clash over a week, created a Revit coordinated file, and submit for review. Finally, after eight weeks, we sent five sets of reports for all the six models on the timeline.
