The client had a set of assets in spreadsheet format with parameters in them that needed to be incorporated into a Revit model. They were facing challenges in finding out an experienced team to work on Revit family template creation and completing the project within the deadline. They decided to partner with Backoffice Pro to ensure their requirements are accomplished with 100% accuracy owing to our expertise.
We received the inputs from the client in the form of CAD drawings and Excel spreadsheets with the parameters for five hundred and fifteen assets that need to be incorporated. A team of seven experts started with the evaluation of the spreadsheets. We created an outline for a workflow to include the parameters into all the assets along with a custom template on Revit. We used Revit, Naviswork, and AutoCAD to place all the assets in their correct coordinates in one Revit model. Finally, we delivered the output to the client within three weeks, in Revit format over a Digital Exchange Server.
The client received a consolidated Revit file with 515 unique HVAC elements placed in their exact coordinates.
